Brief Lesson Plan
Primary Level

I.       Objectives

At the end of the subject period, the students will be able to:

1.  How to strum the Train Strum.
2.  Explain mute and what fingers to use
3.  Create slow Train Strum to apply to a song.

Tune instruments and present song sheets

Show the strum with the  song sheets

Lesson Proper
Discuss the fingers involved in the strum
Topic: Christmas Song and Train Strum

Show how to do this

Look at your hand while you strum.

Mute the strings with your left hand

Use your right hand thunb to flick down on the top string and stop. Use your first finger to strum down over all – show finger,
then strum back up with the finger.

Boom Dit-ty. Say it as you strum.
